The Accommodation

Crockstead offers 12 well appointed en-suite bedrooms each of which has remote colour television, hairdryer, central heating and tea and coffee facilities. One room has been designed to meet the needs of the disabled and all rooms are available in single, twin or double occupancy. Each rooms overlooks grass lawns and open countryside.

The Restaurant

Our restaurant was created from an 18th Century barn, restored using the original timbers. Arranged over two floors, with the restaurant and conservatory on the ground floor, bar and lounge together with open air terrace on the first floor over looking the duck pond and benefits from a roaring open fire in the winter. The menu is wide and varied but based on a contemporary European style of cuisine.

	The Hotel Crockstead is a small select country hotel set in glorious private parkland. Nestling in the heart of the Sussex countryside it is located 15 miles from the famous seaside resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne and Royal Tunbridge Wells. The historic town of Lewes is 7 miles, Gatwick 17, Haywards Heath 12., Glyndebourne 2 and the East Sussex National Golf Course just a 1/4 mile. The Crockstead estate itself can be traced back to the 13th Century although most of the existing buildings date from the 16th Century, as evidenced by the wealth of beams, flagstone floors and huge fireplace all sympathetically restored to create a warm, relaxing and luxurious atmosphere for our guests.

	The Functions Crockstead boasts two flexible functions suites suitable for conferences, weddings, parties and all events. The Lowry Suite is a ten seat private boardroom and the historic Mill Room seats up to 150, but with the internal marquee extension in place can accommodate up 1000. The Mill Room is approached via a beautiful 16th Century circular courtyard and benefits from separate bar facility and a raised stage suitable for top table, live music or conference presentation. We offer a wide range of ancillary services to compliment any event from audio visual equipment to celebrity speakers; from discos to wedding cars.
